Central Lab

Together with GC Labs’ 40 years of experience, GCCL conducts diagnostic tests,
medical examinations, and pathological tests required for clinical trials.
Moreover, we test over 5,000 items ranging from general tests to special molecular genetic tests
and provide analysis of indicators related to safety and efficacy in clinical trials.

Safety Lab Testing

  • General Chemistry

The entire process from pre-testing to the reporting stage is handled automatically, reducing the time required for the test as well as the error rate, thereby providing quick and accurate test results around the clock.

  • Special Chemistry

We conduct congenital metabolism impairment tests, heavy metal tests, vitamin tests, amino acid tests, organic acid tests, fatty acid tests, catecholamine and metabolite tests, electrophoresis tests, ketone body tests, calculus component analyses, organic compound metabolite tests, etc.

  • Hematology

We conduct peripheral blood tests, special blood tests, bone marrow tests, and blood coagulation tests, which are essential for the diagnosis of anemia, blood tumors, bleeding, and blood clotting disorders.

  • Cytogenetics

We conduct chromosomal karyotyping using an automated, state-of-the-art karyotyping system, and the latest molecular cytogenetic tests including FISH.

  • Immunology Enzyme/Radioimmunology

We conduct tests using an immunoassay (antigen-antibody reaction) to diagnose allergic diseases, autoimmune diseases, endocrine diseases, and various infectious diseases, as well as PRA (Panel Reactive Antibody) tests for organ transplantations.

  • Microbiology

We separate and identify microorganisms that are invisible to our eyes such as bacteria, tubercular bacillus, fungi, viruses, and parasites, using culture tests, microscopy, and antigen tests.

  • Molecular Genetics

We perform various cancer-related genetic tests, infectious disease tests, rare disease tests, and pharmacogenetic tests that predict individual differences in drug response.

  • Pathology

We provide the final diagnosis of diseases through pathological tests using a microscope on all samples of tissues and cells obtained from lesions in a patient.
